TARH – Terra, Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos, Lda

Created in 1998, TARH has developed strong expertise in the hydrogeological domain mainly in the groundwater exploration and exploitation field in several locations. Most of the activity has been held in Portugal, Spain, Latin America and Africa.
In all our studies we develop robust conceptual hydrogeological models for water supply, water bottling facilities, geothermal, or at construction sites (such as tunnels).
Our senior staff manage to keep a close relationship with universities and investigation bodies (eg, Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, GEOBIOTEC (Aveiro University) and Lisbon University) with whom we actively cooperate.

Here is a list of our main activities in different subjects:

Groundwater

    Well design and supervision
Auditing and rehabilitation of groundwater supply systems
    Aquifer monitoring and evaluation
    Hydrogeological studies

Hydromineral and geothermical resources

    Development programs
    Tecnical-economical viability studies

Environment

Groundwater impacts of tunnels and mines
Environmental impact reports (hydrogeology and geological resources)
